Come Celebrate COOLinary New Orleans—A Celebration of Dining in
America’s Most Delicious City
Special culinary promotion in its third year; three months of wonderful eating in the Crescent City

New Orleans–July 6, 2007—The New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau (NOMCVB) announced today the beginning of its third annual culinary event, “COOLinary New Orleans—A Celebration of Dining in America’s Most Delicious City.”

Participating restaurants will offer special three-course lunch menus for $20.07 or less and three-course dinner menus for $30.07 or less throughout the months of July, August and September[*].

New Orleans’ renowned, eclectic restaurant community offers a mélange of tastes, flavors and spicy influences that have made our cuisine the city’s most powerful brand.

“New Orleans is the ‘cool’-inary capital of the world and our cuisine is incomparable, said Stephen Perry, president and CEO of the NOMCVB. “This restaurant celebration is a natural fit for New Orleans-- a city whose cuisine is an integral part of its history, fabric and culture. In the one American city where the celebrities are the chefs, COOLinary New Orleans is a world-class celebration of our incredible cuisine, the chefs who create it and the restaurants that offer it.”
